Description

Properties:

• Pleats are a type of fold in fabric that can take on many different looks. A basic pleat is when the fabric is folded back on itself, thereby creating an accordion-like appearance. However, pleats come in many shapes and sizes. Some are even folded throughout, while others are all different sizes. Some pleats are ironed and pressed, while others are more fluid.
• Pleats that are stitched into place are considered tucks, and tucks are generally just used for decoration, as they have no explicit purpose in fashion.

Composition: 50% cotton, 50% polyester.
Weight aprox.: 115 gr/m².
Uses: dresses, shirts, blouses, tops.
Voluminous Drape: fabric with this type of drape is often stiffer which causes it to stick out from the body.

Washing instructions:

• Machine wash at 30ºC maximum.
• Iron at a maximum temperature of 150ºC.
• Do not bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not use degreasing agents that contain organic solvents (i.e. acetone, trichlorethylene, methylchloride etc.).

Meter-Yard:
1 yard is 36 inches long. For reference, 1 meter is about 1,09 yard (40 inches) so please order up or down for your sewing and crafting needs.
